Rodney Brannen

Rodney has been with Brannen-NeSmith Funeral Home since 1987. He graduated from Gupton-Jones College of Funeral Service and is a licensed funeral director and embalmer. He is a member of First Baptist Church of Vienna where he serves as a deacon. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of Middle Georgia Technical College, is a member of the Vienna Kiwanis Club, a member and past-president of the Unadilla Lions Club and a past-president of the Dooly County Heart Association. Rodney has two children, Ryan and Rebecca.
 
Bill NeSmith

Bill has been affiliated with the funeral homes since January, 1986 when he purchased the Vienna and Unadilla locations from the former owner, Rooney Bowen, Jr. In 1993, Bill briefly left the funeral homes to pursue a law degree and currently practices law in Americus, Georgia, just west of Dooly County in addition to his work with the funeral homes. Bill is a graduate of Gupton-Jones College of Funeral Service, is a licensed funeral director and embalmer, earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Mercer University and a Juris Doctor degree from the Walter F. George School of Law at Mercer University. He lives in Americus and is married to Beth Haugabook. They have one daughter, Dallas.
 
Talmadge Everett
Talmadge Everett was born in Dooly County and has lived in Vienna most of his life. He has been an active member of First Baptist Church of Vienna for many years and is a deacon, a former Sunday School teacher, director and RA leader. His is a member and past-president of the Vienna Kiwanis club and is a past president of the Dooly County Little League and the Dooly County chapter of the American Red Cross. In 1962, he became a partner in Bowen-Everett Funeral Home and has remained a licensed funeral director with the business ever since. He is a US Army veteran and retired after 26 years as Postmaster in Vienna. Talmadge is married to Lola Etheridge Everett and they have two children and four grandchildren.
 
Marlene A. Dupree
Marlene Dupree is a native of Dooly County and has lived in Pinehurst most of her life. She graduated from Pinehurst High School in 1955 and worked with the U. S. Department of Agriculture in the Dooly County ASCS office for the next 34 years. She is married to Talmadge Dupree and has one son, Charles Dupree and one grandson, Ashley Dupree of Vienna. Marlene is a member of Pinehurst United Methodist Church. She has been with Brannen-NeSmith Funeral Home since 1992.
 
Talmadge Dupree
Talmadge Dupree is a native of Dooly County and has lived in Pinehurst all his life. He is married to Marlene Arflin Dupree and has one son, Charles Dupree and one grandson, Ashley Dupree of Vienna. He served in the United States Army from 1953-1955 and then worked at Robins Air Force Base for 36 years. He is a member of Pinehurst United Methodist Church and serves as a City Councilman in Pinehurst. He has been with Brannen-NeSmith Funeral Home since 1988.
 
Juanita A. Bowen
Juanita A. Bowen is a native of Dooly County. She is the daughter of the late Edgar L. Andrews and Lucille Horne Andrews of Unadilla. She graduated from Pinehurst High School and has lived in the Franklin Community for the past 50 years. She is a member of Drayton Baptist Church. Juanita joined the staff of Brannen-NeSmith Funeral Home in 1994.
 
Betty Colter
Betty Colter is a native of Dooly County and became the Family Service Advisor for Brannen-NeSmith Funeral Home in 1996. As Family Service Advisor, Betty counsels with families about aftercare and pre-need options. Betty is a member of First Baptist Church of Vienna and the Alathean Sunday School Class. In 1999, Betty became the Clerk of Dooly County Superior Court. Betty is married to Andy Colter and has two sons, Jeff Reed and Jamey Reed.
 
Billy Stewart
Billy is a native of Houston County, but has lived in Unadilla the past twelve years. He graduated from Perry High School in 1953 and then served in the 18th Air Borne Corps Artillery, US Army, for four years. He is a past president of the Perry Exchange Club and Perry Jaycees. He is retired from Pabst Brewing Company. Billy is married to Patsy Stewart and is a member of Harmony Baptist Church. Billy began working at the funeral home in 2003.

M. Lee Wiley, Jr.
Lee is a native of Crisp County, but has lived most of his life in Pinehurst. He graduated from Crisp County High School and received his B. S. Degree from Texas A&M University. He is a retired banker of 40 years and worked most of his time in Dooly County. Lee is married to Sandra Bowen of Pinehurst, a retired teacher who still teaches part-time at Fullington Academy. Lee and Sandra have two children, Wayne, a helicopter pilot with the Georgia State Patrol, and LeSan, a gifted teacher in the Houston County School System. Lee and Sandra have four grandchildren. Lee is a Deacon at Liberty Baptist Church and has been a Director and past president of the Dooly Chamber of Commerce. He is also a past president of the Lions Club and the Rotary Club. Lee joined the staff of Brannen-NeSmith Funeral Home in December of 2006.
